At Whit-The-Hale Firearms, we are a small business that brings military, law enforcement and civilian experience to the table. We hold ourselves, our products and services to a higher standard that meets the customer’s standard as much as our own. We offer our combined experiences and honest expertise to ensure our customers leave knowing how to use and maintain their firearm along with confidently learning proper shooting skills to the safest manner possible to protect themselves, their families and our nation.

Our instructors are current or former military or law enforcement officers. Most have served in combat tours overseas and all have Law Enforcement experience.  Our instructors are NRA Instructor Certified or USCCA Instructor Certified and one of our instructors was OPOTA Firearm certified instructors. We have a combined experience of over 30 years! 

We offer the opportunity to have your firearms purchased online transferred to our location as we are a Class 1 Dealer in Firearms Other Than Destructive Devices. This includes: Rifles, Shotguns, Pistols, Revolvers. Look at the services tab for more details.

We want to make sure everyone that comes to us, leaves comfortable with the knowledge, skills and attitude of the firearm they are going to be using. We use the training from our military and law enforcement backgrounds along with our personal experiences to ensure you achieve the maximum experience and knowledge. If you have a question and we don't know the answer, we will find the answer for you, firearms are our passion and we want everyone to have the same experiences as they get into this wonderful hobby whether it be for competition, backyard shooting or person protection. We conduct our classes in one of two ways:

• You meet at our location and participate in a small group setting, typically ten persons or less, and learn and train with likeminded people who are looking to get the best training. We teach and shoot on site.
  

​Or...

• We can come to you and offer a more personal or private training experience in your own home or business. We ask that you have at least 6 people in your group. You would also need to have your own place to conduct the range shooting portion like a backyard or range.

 Either way, we will provide the same information and qualifications as the private or small group classes.

Our class will give you all the necessary information to properly load, unload, clean, fire your firearm, and more. We find that a Crawl, Walk, Run Phase approach works best. Starting with some basic knowledge and unloaded firearms handling to get familiarized with your individual firearm for the Crawl Phase. For the Walk Phase we will work with your own firearm or the Shot Indicating Resetting Trigger (SIRT) Training Pistols. These will simulate shooting a firearm to assess proper shooting fundamentals. Finally for the Run Phase, we will do live fire shooting and qualification. We have a Bullseye Camera System which will give you real time view of your shots on the target for scenarios that would require it. This allows for on-the-spot corrections to be made and saves time from having to move up and down the range.

At the end of the day, you will have an amazing and memorable experience to take home with you along with all the required skills and knowledge for the class that you are participating in. We like to remain as a point of contact after the class so if at any time in the future you have questions or concerns, they can be addressed. We also hope to gain your repeat business when it comes to buying, selling, transferring and any other firearms needs that might arise.
