I was born and raised in Wooster, Ohio. When I was 16 years old, I shot my first rifle at a buddy's house. After that moment, I knew this would be a passion of mine. At age 17, I joined the U.S. Army and I am still currently enlisted. I have over 15 years experience and I am my units RSO and Armorer. I served two combat tours. One in Helmand Province, Afghanistan and one in the Horn of Africa, amongst other countries. In my past, I worked for the Sheriff's Office for over two years. I am currently a Patron member of the NRA and the Public Relations Officer for the Post 250 AMVETS. I am NRA Instructors Certified and USCCA Instructor certified.  

​​I am an avid hunter and very much enjoy firearms and aviation. I have been involved with firearms and aviation since I was a young man. My family has an extensive Military and Law Enforcement history. I have been a Law Enforcement Officer for over 16 years now and have had the opportunity to be part of many different divisions within the department. I was previously the Field Training Officer within the Corrections unit where I trained the future generation of Law Enforcement Officers. I am also the Firearms Range Officer for the Sheriff's Office. I am a certified USCCA Firearms Instructor in the Ashland area.
